Terms of service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Rtbha (the "Service"). By signing in or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

What Rtbha is

The Service helps you analyze a job description against your resume, generate a tailored CV, cover letter, and interview prep pack. The Service uses third-party AI models (Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek). The output is generated by language models and is not legal, medical, or career advice. You are responsible for reviewing and editing every artifact before submitting it to a prospective employer.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. You must provide a valid email address and have the legal right to use it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit content that is illegal, hateful, infringing, or contains another person's resume without their permission.
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or otherwise enumerate the Service.
• Attempt to bypass our rate limits, cost caps, or authentication.
• Reverse-engineer the Service or any of its components.
• Use the Service in a way that interferes with other users or our infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate access if we detect abuse.

Your content and our rights

Your content stays yours. You retain all rights to the resume, job descriptions, and generated artifacts you create through the Service.

License to operate the Service. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content for the sole purpose of running the Service for you — that includes sending text content to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy, storing files in our object storage, and rendering analyses and artifacts in the dashboard. We do not use your content to train AI models.

Generated content. Artifacts produced by the AI are derived from your inputs. You own the output you generate, subject to the terms of the underlying model providers as described in their own policies.

AI output disclaimer

The Service uses generative AI. Output may contain errors, omissions, or fabricated facts (the no-fabrication check we run helps but is not perfect). Every artifact must be reviewed by you before use. We do not guarantee that following the Service's suggestions will result in a job offer or interview.

Free tier and paid tier

Some features are limited to a free tier with monthly usage caps; some features require a paid subscription ("Pro"). Pricing is shown on the upgrade page. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis and are at our discretion.

Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice for material changes that affect paid users.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete account.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or fail to pay for the Pro tier. We will provide reasonable notice unless the violation is severe.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Service operator is incorporated. You agree that any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction. (Replace this clause with your specific jurisdiction before publishing.)

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
